1st WORKSHOP of the EMRP Project “Absolute long distance measurement in air” (JRP 3.1)
Workshops respond to the partners’ mission of promoting the transfer of knowledge to all potential people interested in the outcomes and impacts of the JRP, most of them not yet identified at the present stage of the project.
1st Workshop took place on 20th May 2008 at CEM (Madrid, Spain), coinciding with the kick off meeting of the project. There were 40 attendees listening to 9 interesting talks covering the scope and stages of the project and much of the techniques to be developed and used in the different work packages which the project is divided in.

Although the conclusion of the project was foreseen for the end of 2010, the project will continue until 31 May 2011, after getting the conclusions from the last baseline measurements in Innsbruck in March, in which 4 institutes (BEV, PTB, CNAM and MIKES) are directly involved.
