The next progress meeting will take place at CNAM (La Plaine Saint Denis, Paris) on 4th and 5th November. This is the last but one meeting before the end of the project next year.

The end of the Project is foreseen for the 31st May 2011, after getting the conclusions from the last baseline measurements taking place in Innsbruck in March, in which 4 institutes (BEV, PTB, CNAM and MIKES) are directly involved.

Funded by EURAMET National Metrology Institutes and the European Commission, with the following objectives: 

- Development and validation of new techniques and instruments for long distance measurements in air beyond the state-of-the-art. Targeted accuracy : 10-7.

Although the conclusion of the project was foreseen for the end of 2010, the project will continue until 31 May 2011, after getting the conclusions from the last baseline measurements in Innsbruck in March, in which 4 institutes (BEV, PTB, CNAM and MIKES) are directly involved.
